What's New
The navigation key issue was originally planned to be fixed in v1.4.0, but due to network problems, the update failed to push and was therefore invalid. This version will fix it instead.
Description
This application is an Android port of the desktop application Scrcpy. It mirrors the display and touch controls from a remote Android device to an Android device. Scrcpy for Android uses the ADB-Connect interface to connect to the Android device being mirrored.
Instructions to use
- Make sure both devices are on the same local network.
- Enable ADB-Connect / ADB Wireless / ADB over network on the device to be mirrored.
- Open the Scrcpy-Android app and enter the IP address of the device to be mirrored.
- Select display parameters and bitrate from the drop-down menu (1280x720 and 2 Mbps work best).
- Enable the Navbar switch if the device to be mirrored has only hardware navigation buttons.
- Hit the Start button.
- Accept and trust the ADB connection prompt on the target device (check "Always allow from this computer"). Note: some custom ROMs do not show this prompt.
- That's all! You should now see the screen of the remote Android device.
- To wake up the remote device, double tap anywhere on the screen.
- To put the remote device to sleep, cover the proximity sensor and double tap anywhere on the screen.
- To bring back the local Android system navbar while mirroring the remote device, swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen.
⚠️ Note
To connect to devices on a public network, the device's public network port must be open for access.
