WakeUpScreen is an open source Android application that automatically lights up the screen when receiving a notification. No cloud services, no redundancy, and zero compromise.

Functional characteristics:

·Instant screen lighting-The screen lights up automatically the moment you receive the notification. Putting your phone on the table will not miss important information.

·Pocket mode-intelligently detects whether the phone is in a pocket or bag, and automatically maintains the screen. Saving electricity starts with the details.

·Application filtering-Select exactly which applications can be highlighted. Full control of what deserves your attention.

·Dark mode-Beautiful dark interface that perfectly suits the AMOLED screen. Eye protection and save electricity.

·No network required-runs completely locally on the device. Zero data collection, zero server connection. Your privacy is absolutely protected.

·Lightweight-extremely small resource consumption and almost insensitive power consumption. Developed based on Kotlin, native performance is available out of the box.

Design concept:

Manufacturers such as Samsung prefer Always on Display, while this app tends to close the screen normally and light it up when receiving a notification, similar to the expression of iOS and MIUI.

Compared with similar applications, this application has three core advantages: - Open source-follows the GPLv3 protocol, all code is fully open - No network required-no network permissions are applied, giving users peace of mind - No advertising-purely for demand, no profit pressure

Usage method:

1. Install and grant notification access. With this permission only, data never leaves your device. 2. Choose which apps wake up the screen, release important messages, and filter out extraneous distractions. 3. That's it, live your life. WakeUpScreen runs silently in the background.
