About this app
An open-source, rootless plugin management and runtime platform for the Android ecosystem.
Overview
Rootless Store is not just a tool for installing plugins. It aims to fill a long-missing gap in the Android ecosystem:
- making plugins discoverable, manageable, and executable - making Sources organized, traceable, and maintainable - allowing more users to access Android and Linux-like capabilities with a lower barrier to entry
It stands on three core principles:
- Rootless / Low Barrier - Open Source / Maintainable - Decentralized / Extensible
Features
Manage, execute, share, and install plugins from configurable sources
Build quick automations with CodeBrick, then promote them into full plugins when they grow
Run both one-shot scripts and daemon-style plugins designed for long-running workflows
Choose the right execution context: limited app shell, Shizuku / ADB, or Root
Receive remote notifications for plugin status changes and warning events
Monitor device status, including Memory, Storage, Kernel, SELinux, Plugin state, and temperature
Use a GUI-first workflow instead of wrestling with traditional TUI / TTY tooling

What's new
- Local Package Installation with Signature Verification:
- Local Plugin, Environment, and Magisk-style packages can now be selected and installed from the system file picker. Every package is checked for its content and signature before installation, and the confirmation sheet shows the package name, developer, type, and signature status. Packages signed by Rootless Store show a clear trusted state, unknown developers require manual confirmation, and a help link explains the verification chain. Custom CA Certificate Management:
- Import your own CA certificates to trust packages signed by the developers you choose. PEM-encoded CMS signatures are now parsed correctly, including certificate chains from self-hosted sources. Certificates are stored locally with a dedicated management screen, and the local database is upgraded automatically. About Dialog and Developer Options:
- A new About dialog in Settings shows version information and project social links. Developer options are now available as a dedicated toggle in Settings. Certificate management stays behind developer options, keeping the everyday settings screen simple.
