Equipment requirements: - Phone or tablet running Android version no lower than 4.2 - Bluetooth or WiFi adapter ELM327 version 1.5 or lower (successful work with Chinese adapters version 2.0+ is unlikely or functionality may be limited). Quick start 1. Install the latest version of CVTz50 from Google Play 2. For Bluetooth ELM327 adapter: Insert the adapter into the diagnostic connector of the car with the ignition on and pair it with the Android device. If the adapter is called “OBDII” in the list of Bluetooth devices, then the program will select this adapter automatically. If the adapter is called differently, then its name must be set manually in the program settings, otherwise CVTz50 will prompt you to select the adapter from the list of Bluetooth devices every time you start it. For WiFi ELM327 adapter: Insert the adapter into the diagnostic connector of the car with the ignition on, connect the Android device to the WiFi network of the adapter and configure automatic connection to this WiFi network. In the CVTz50 program menu, open “Settings...” → “Connection”, and select WiFi in the “ELM327 adapter type” item. On some phones, when connecting to a WiFi network, you must enable the “connect even if the network does not provide access to the Internet” checkbox. 3. Start CVTz50 and check the connection by pressing the Monitor CVT Operation button. If the connection is successful, a log of data exchange between the CVTz50 and the adapter will appear on the screen, after which the program will switch to the mode of displaying transmission operating parameters.

The program does NOT work with Nissan/Zhatko CVT models before 2002, as well as with any Toyota, Honda, Kia, VW/Audi, Subaru, Mercedes CVTs. Google can't update at the moment.
