Fediphoto is for posting photos on Fediverse. ♧ Background ♧ PLA wrote this app to relieve the itch to post frictionless photos to Fediverse while cycling. This is a continuation of his project to honor his memory ( The reason for his death, nowhere to be found). ♤ How to work with FediPhoto ♤ You set up the text and hashtags for the status in advance. Then, with three taps, post the photo. • Click on the camera. • Frame your subject and tap to take the picture. • Tap to accept the photo (ยน), and you're done! The photo and status text are posted in the background. If the connection is poor, the photo will be uploaded when the connection appears. (ยน) □ WARNING □ This behavior only occurs when using the standard Android Camera app. If you use another camera app, such as _OpenCamera_ or _SimpleCamera_, you will not be asked for confirmation, so the photo is loaded automatically immediately after you take it. Beware of what you put in the frame! This procedure will be changed in the future (see related issue #42). ♤ Features ♤ • Multiple accounts. • Multiple status configurations. • Optional customizable date format using Java Simple Date Format. • The default format string is "EEEE MMMM dd, yyyyy hh:mm:ss a z". • Optionally customizable ota and longitude of the URL or text. • Using two %.5f format arguments. • The default format string is "https://openstreetmap.org?zoom=17&layers=m&mlat=%.5f&mlon=%.5f". ¤ If you prefer Google Maps ¤ "https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=%.5f,%.5f". • After publishing a photo, the app can: ° Leave the photo in the FediPhoto-Lineage folder ▪︎ Copy a photo to the Android Pictures folder ▪︎Move a photo to the Android Pictures folder ° Delete photo. This is a continuation of the FediPhoto project from PLA, which left us in January 2021. The developers are trying their best to make FediPhoto as good as possible to honor the author's memory. □ How to use it □ Connect the FediPhoto-Lineage client to your fediverse account (Mastodon, pleroma, hubzilla, friendica, pixelfed and many other Fediverse-owned services). Multiple accounts are supported. You will be prompted for the following permissions 《 Configure settings》 < status > Multiple status settings are supported. Click on the ` home screen' to open the camera, take a picture and click on the check mark icon (bottom right). Done!!! FediPhoto-Lineage will post your status and then you will receive a confirmation message. ◇ Privacy and Privacy ◇ Privacy FediPhoto-Lineage does NOT collect any personal data and/or information. It works locally on your device and your account information is not shared or stored. Please open a question with detailed information about the problem. If you are not comfortable filling out the question or do not have a Codeberg account, you can also contact the developers on the fediverse account. Contribute by making feature requests and code contributions. Talk to the translators about translations.
