The Blackmagic Camera app for Android is a powerful mobile video recording tool that brings professional-grade camera controls and image processing to select Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel smartphones. Key features of the Blackmagic Camera app for Android include: Intuitive interface with heads-up display for settings like frame rate, shutter angle, white balance, and ISO Ability to shoot in 16:9 or vertical aspect ratios, with a "stealth mode" for discreet 16:9 recording while holding the phone vertically Support for recording in H.264 and H.265 codecs, with automatic proxy file generation Integration with Blackmagic Cloud for seamless collaboration with editors and colorists worldwide Direct upload of footage to DaVinci Resolve projects, allowing for quick editing and post-production The Blackmagic Camera app is currently available for free on the Google Play Store, but is only compatible with select Samsung Galaxy S23/S24 and Google Pixel 7/8 models running Android 13 or later. While the app's availability may expand to more Android devices in the future, the current version on Play Store is limited to these flagship smartphone models, hence this release is to give e people the possibility to try it on their own devices. There are no mods and no premium subscription inside, to use it locally (without the cloud storage functions) is completely free and the app is fully functional. It's been tested on S22Ultra with UI 6.1.
