🚀 CodeAssist 3.8.5 COMPOSE PREVIEW

Newer Compose / Material3 stacks now render. A project whose Compose version is too new for the built-in bridge is now interpreted directly, so the latest Compose and Material3 (including Expressive) previews draw instead of falling back. LaunchedEffect { … } timers now work. A preview with LaunchedEffect(key) { while (…) { delay(1000); … } } no longer errors with "delay outside an interpreted coroutine" — suspend effects run on a real background coroutine, so delay-driven counters and animations tick. Collection operators are supported. list += x / list -= x, map[key] = value, key in map, list.addAll(…) / removeAll / retainAll, and your own operator fun get/set/contains all work in previews now. Big color schemes render. darkColorScheme(…) / lightColorScheme(…) with many named colors no longer fails. Previews no longer get stuck on "Preparing libraries" after the index finishes with a partial result. EXPERIMENTAL: OUT-OF-PROCESS PREVIEW

A new opt-in mode (Preview settings) runs the Compose @Preview in its own process, so a runaway or crashing preview can no longer freeze the IDE. It streams live frames, forwards touch (tap/scroll), and resolves resources (R.string, colors, drawables). Off by default while it stabilizes. AI AGENT

Connect a provider behind a private or regional certificate authority. A custom (OpenAI-compatible) provider whose server uses a CA the system doesn't trust — for example GigaChat — now has an optional "CA certificate" field. Paste the CA and the connection is trusted alongside the system CAs (the certificate chain is still fully verified), fixing "couldn't reach AI provider".
