What's new

v2.1.0Sep 14, 2026
  • Episode lists that actually say what the episode is, a TV that behaves like one, and a long list of things that quietly didn't work.
  • New - Episode lists carry real information. Titles, ratings, runtimes, air dates and synopses stay put instead of being flattened into "Episode 1, Episode 2, Episode 3" the moment a source loads. The source only decides what can play — the catalogue decides what it's called - Crash reports come to us. A crash takes the app with it, so the in-app log never gets to say what happened. Crashes now report themselves, which is how the resume bug in this release was found - Send a diagnostic log in one tap. Settings › Advanced › Share logs uploads it and hands you a short code, instead of dropping a file into a share sheet and hoping. Secrets are stripped before anything leaves the phone - The reader hides the system bars, so a page is the whole screen
  • Improved - Android TV settings are one flow now, with back transitions that go where you expect and sections that match the phone - Simkl tracking works. It never sent the season, so a multi-season series sat on whatever episode it last recorded — S3E3 and S1E3 both read as "3". It also counts distinct episodes rather than a high-water mark, so a single scrobble left an account twelve episodes in reading "Watching · 1". - Both fixed, and every scrobble is now logged either way - A source that times out gets another chance. Pressing play on an episode clears the "too slow" mark instead of leaving that source benched for ten minutes - Cast and Relations load on their own rather than waiting behind the episode list - Manga and novels stop sweeping every source they were never going to match - Active Source left Settings. It was a second copy of what the Sources screen already does - The log file stopped rewriting itself on every single line — 326ms down to 69ms per 500 lines
