About this app

Kototoro is an unofficial fork of Kotatsu for Android that brings manga, novels, and video into one reader. It combines broad source compatibility with local OCR + translation, video super-resolution, and WebDAV-based multi-device sync.

Why Kototoro

- One app for manga, novels, and video - Local automatic OCR + translation directly inside the reader - Video super-resolution (Anime4K), DLNA casting, subtitle and audio track selection - Tracking discovery across MAL, Kitsu, AniList, Bangumi, Shikimori, and MangaUpdates - Reliable multi-device sync through free or self-hosted WebDAV setups - Broad source support: built-in Kotatsu-Redo parsers, Mihon, Aniyomi, IReader, Legado, TVBox - Site favorites import and synchronization for supported services

✨ Features / 新功能 Tracking: MangaBaka tracking, and brand icons are back for tracking sites (新增 MangaBaka 追踪，恢复各追踪站点的品牌图标) Favourites: per-Space category visibility and custom category covers; the category picker follows the current Space's favourites order (分类可见性按空间单独设置，支持自定义分类封面；分类选择器按当前空间的收藏排序) Reader: toggle each chapter's download and translate buttons from the panel menus (可从面板菜单开关每章的下载和翻译按钮) iOS: details keep metadata rows the source cannot fill (详情页保留来源无法提供的资料行)
🐛 Fixes / 修复 Migration: intermittent update failures are marked suspicious instead of flagging titles for migration (间歇性的更新失败只标记为可疑，不再直接判定为需要迁移) CloudStream: bridge the CommonActivity.showToast default argument (补上 CommonActivity.showToast 默认参数的桥接) Storage: read SAF archives in place instead of copying them (SAF 归档改为原地读取，不再整份复制) parser-host: parser headers take precedence over platform defaults (解析器自带的请求头优先于平台默认值) iOS: keep every folded line of the details title; verify JAR source challenges in WebKit; novel footer margins and edge-swipe back; fewer recommendation stalls and refined episode controls (详情标题折叠时保留所有行；JAR 来源验证改在 WebKit 中完成；小说页脚边距与边缘滑动返回；推荐卡顿与剧集控件) Windows: the packaged-app self check accepts the new backup sections (打包自检同步备份格式的新分节)
