This is a simple way to install application. You should select Install New"in main menu, then select application from the list (or "Other app"if there is no your app in the list), and select installation executable file Executable files should be placed to "Download" folder (or it's subfolder) on your device's internal storage. Important! When you install application using recipe, it is strongly recommended not to run application immediately after installation process finishes. Instead you should exit Windows environment and run application using shortcut on "Desktop"or "Start Menu". Manual installation. This is option for advanced users. If you have any problems with recipe install method, or if your case is non-trivial and requires some additional actions. you can try to install application manually. To do this vou should perform following actions: * Enter "Manage Containers"in main menu and create new container by clicking "+"button (you can skip this step if you want to use existing container). settings. * Open container's "Properties"and change any necessary * Optionally, you can install additional packages using container's "Install packages" *Select "Run Explorer"in container's menu and you get into Windows environment with File Manager running. * Now you can perform any actions you want (running executables, copying files, creating shortcuts etc.). Containers Overview. Container is an isolated Windows environment, similar to separate Windows installation. You can perform any actions with container without affecting other containers. New container creates automatically when you install application using recipe. You can also create new container manually by clicking "+"button in "Manage Containers menu. Actions with containers Run Explorer Opens Windows environment with File Manager where you can perform any actions you want. Install packages. Some programs may require additional software to run correctly (for example, .NET). You can install this software by clicking Install packages"in container's menu. Packages installation performs in background and may take quite a lot of time to complete (up to 5 minutes for one package). If installation progress doesn't update for this period, an error occurred during installation and you should cancel it by clicking "Back"button on your device Important! Packages are downloaded from the Internet so make sure that you have your Network connection active. Clone and delete. You can clone entire container with all applications, files and settings by clicking "Clone"in container's menu. Cloning large container may take a while depending on it's size You can delete container by clicking "Delete"in container's menu Container properties. You can change various container's properties by clicking "Properties"in container's menu. The most important properties are: Screen resolution and Color depth For games, to work correctly, must be set to those at which particular game runs. For common applications default resolution and 32bit color depth should be suitable. Controls For games use controls that best suite for particular game. For common applications default controls should be the best choice. Locale For old applications and games it must match application language, or you may have problems with displaying fonts and typing text. Controls To imitate mouse and keyboard, touch gestures are used. There are different sets of this gestures, each of which optimized for particular type of applications or games. You can find detailed instructions for each controls in "Controls" section of this Help When installing application from recipe (typically a game), controls for corresponding container are automatically set to optimized for this game. You can change controls in container's properties at any time.
