About this app
SkidwareDNS v6.0 (6.0.0-skid) — local Android VPN, encrypted DNS router, firewall, tunnel forge, Stack Lab, Open Port 1-64000, and LAN tools hub. One APK. .skid profiles.
What it is SkidwareDNS is a on-device control plane for DNS, firewalling, and tunnels. You tap START, Android shows the system VPN consent sheet, and (depending on mode) we create a local TUN. DNS queries and optionally IP packets hit our engine first. A .skid profile decides whether each name is allowed, which resolver speaks DoH/DoT/DNSCrypt, whether SOCKS/WireGuard/SSH/Tor/I2P is in the path, and how TCP/UDP/TLS sockets are tuned.
The Home chart is live allowed vs blocked from that path. Stats is the same counters as tiles. Configure is every knob in one searchable hub. SKID is the raw profile. Tools are LAN utilities that happen to live in the same APK so you are not sideloading six other apps.
It is not:
a hosted VPN provider, a cloud account, or a “Skidware network” a wrapper around someone else’s APK a root / iptables firewall — we only see what the VPN framework gives us a full Tor, i2pd, Xray, or Hysteria binary. Those screens write settings and talk to local SOCKS/HTTP (Orbot :9050, i2pd :4444, …) when those apps are actually running a guarantee of anonymity. A DNS+Firewall mode does not hide your IP. A mis-set profile can leak.
Nothing is uploaded by the app itself. Blocklists, logs, PCAP, and .skid profiles stay on the phone (until you export them).
