About this app

✨ CodeAssist 3.38.0

A home for the AI. A new AI tab in the middle of the home screen: describe an app and it builds it, or chat about any of your projects without opening the editor.

AI TAB

Build an app by chatting: say what you want ("a tip calculator that splits the bill") and the assistant picks a template, creates the project, writes the screens and builds it. Tap Run when it is done.

Chat about any project: pick a project from Work on and ask, plan or fix without opening the editor. Open in editor takes you there when you want to look yourself.

All your chats in one place: the menu lists recent conversations across every project.

Suggestions to start from: a few ideas above the message box when you do not know where to begin.

AI ASSISTANT

MCP servers: connect the assistant to your own tools. Add a server by URL (with headers or OAuth sign-in), for the whole app or one project. On desktop, local servers that run as a command work too. Find it under Connections in the chat menu, or type /mcp.

Agent skills: drop a SKILL.md into your project's or the app's skills folder and the assistant uses it when it fits. Type /skills to see them.

Tidier chats: the steps the assistant took fold into one line you can expand, like in the Claude app, so the answer stays easy to read.

You can see it working: the AI icon in the editor spins while the assistant is busy.

Apps the assistant creates now download their libraries before it builds, get the name and package you asked for, and no longer fail with hundreds of "unresolved" errors.

EDITOR

Add a missing library in one tap: an import, class or layout tag from a library you have not added yet (AppCompat, Material, Gson, Retrofit, Glide, Guava and over 100 more) now gets a quick fix: Add library Gson. Pasted code missing several? Add all fixes them at once, and a notice above the editor offers it too.

It picks the newest version that works with your module's minSdk and compileSdk, and falls back to a known-good one offline.

STORE

Explore keeps your place: going back from a project returns to where you were in the feed, and an open search stays open with your query.

Opening one of your published projects from your profile no longer throws you back to Explore.
