Android code editor with an on-device agentic chat. DeepSeek reads and edits the open project through tools; the workspace stays on the device.

Complex Editor Neuro — a code editor for Android with a built-in agentic chat, aimed at the Zed desktop workflow: edit files by hand, slide the agent panel open when you want a change made, let it work, read the report, close the panel, keep editing.

The built-in provider is DeepSeek through its OpenAI-compatible API. Other providers can be added in Language models settings. The workspace, the tools, and the conversation stay on the device. API keys stay on the device too.

First run The app asks for all-files access. It is required: the app edits project folders on shared storage. This is why CEditNeuro is a sideloaded tool and not a Play Store app. Tap Choose folder and point it at a project. Open Settings (Language models). Models is open; paste the DeepSeek API key there. The balance line under the key shows what is left on that account, so a stop for price limits is visible before the agent runs out. Other providers use the same line when their host publishes a balance. The built-in provider defaults to https://api.deepseek.com/v1 and deepseek-flash. Check for updates is a separate row at the bottom. Tap the chat icon to slide the agent panel in. The paperclip attaches photos and documents. They are saved in the project and their text is sent with the message. A model that accepts images also receives the photo. DeepSeek receives the file text and path. Doctor reads saved agent sessions, lists mistakes that repeat, and can send that report back so the agent fixes them. Share this folder uses a server both phones already saved. The link icon shows a code. Tap the code to copy it. The channel stays on screen and shows when the other phone is linked and data is moving. The phone that shared is the lead, the other checks that work and sends corrections. Opening another project does not stop the agent you left running.
