Account as Capability: Enables access to search, playback, playlists, and favorites through third-party platform authorization. Local Priority: Playback cache, downloaded files, playlists, history, settings, and authorization information are saved locally on the device by default. Optional Synchronization: Playlists, favorites, recently played songs, song playback statistics, playlist open statistics, and local playlist playback statistics can be synchronized to the user's own GitHub repository (private repositories are used by default when creating new files within the app) or WebDAV remote files. Respect for Privacy and Account Security: The synchronization strategy deliberately maintains decentralization; data is written to a user-controlled GitHub/WebDAV remote repository, rather than being uploaded to a centralized service of the project maintainer. The application is not incapable of writing playback history back to third-party music platforms; however, centralized music platform clients typically have risk control and behavior sampling mechanisms, and directly reporting historical playback data may trigger risks such as abnormal logins, abnormal playback, or account freezing. For account security reasons, NeriPlayer does not currently upload local playback history and playback statistics to these platforms. Single Activity + Compose Architecture: MainActivity is the sole external entry point. The UI is organized by Compose NavHost, a dynamic bottom bar, Mini Player, and the Now Playing overlay. Startup and Recovery Flow: The normal startup process is Loading -> Disclaimer -> Onboarding -> Main; if a crash or system ANR occurred during the last startup, it will first enter Safe Mode. Testing Barriers: Key links such as download storage, synchronization and merging, YouTube playback compatibility, "Listen Together," lyrics parsing, playback strategy, configuration backup, and safe mode all have corresponding unit tests or device tests.
