Features

Formats. EPUB, FB2 (including .fb2.zip), TXT and PDF. FB2 illustrations and covers are shown, and a PDF cover is generated from the first page. Open files straight from any app via “Share → MRead”.

Reading that stays out of your way. Fast startup, smooth page turns, no background noise. Adjust font size, margins, line spacing and paragraph spacing right on the page and see the change instantly. Rearrange the settings blocks to match how you read.

Footnotes done right. Tap a footnote and get the exact note, so translations, author notes and scholarly comments no longer get mixed up.

PDF full-text search. Search inside PDFs that have a text layer, with an indexing indicator and jump-to-result.

Translation & dictionaries. Select a word for an instant translation or a definition from Wiktionary / Free Dictionary. You can also send a word to any dictionary app installed on your device.

Read aloud (TTS). Listen to your books: voice picker, speed and pitch, sleep timer, page auto-advance, and pause that remembers where you stopped.

Highlights, quotes & notes. Mark passages with colored highlights that adapt to the theme (Light, Cream, Gray, Dark). Rate each book and keep a personal note. Export words with sentence context and quotes to AnkiDroid in one tap.

Library you control. Shelves, hidden books, bulk import and background folder import. Sort by author or shelf. Material You theming.

Private by design. Everything is stored locally. No servers, no cloud sync, no tracking. The internet is used only for translation and dictionary lookups you ask for.

Permissions

- Internet: translation and dictionary lookups only. - All files access: to open books from any folder (downloads, messengers, SD card) and to create local backups. Your files are never uploaded anywhere.
