Privacy

No accounts, no ads, no analytics. An optional Wallhaven API key is stored in the Android Keystore and never leaves the device — excluded from cloud backup and sent only as X-API-Key to Wallhaven. Favorites and downloads are local, written atomically, and never uploaded.

Reliability

Offline-first. Search cache with 30-minute TTL and stale fallback, favorites disk with atomic writes and LRU eviction, and WorkManager chains that respect battery state. Every network call returns a typed result — no blank screens, no silent failures.
