Mai2P

Mai2P is a private, serverless email app for Android that runs over the I2P network. You create an account, write a message, and read your inbox — with no central mail server involved. Emails are stored in a distributed hash table, encrypted and signed end-to-end, so only the intended recipient can read them and nobody can forge them.

What it does Create an account in one tap — an account is your I2P email identity. Write and send messages to other Mai2P / Bote identities over I2P. Inbox and folders for received mail. Two ways to reach I2P: Built-in router — the app runs its own I2P router on the phone (works anywhere, mobile data or WiFi). Home router — connect over your LAN/WiFi to an I2P router running at home (e.g. on a Raspberry Pi) via I2CP. The home router keeps a long-lived session so the phone is just a light client. Clearnet bridge (optional): relay to ordinary addresses (e.g. Gmail) through the Postman SMTP-over-I2P gateway.
