• In this major update, we've implemented a deep redesign in key areas, a completely new Cast module, significant improvements in audio fidelity, and critical fixes for a flawless experience.
• ✨ User Interface and User Experience (UX) - Home screen redesign: We've revamped the main interface to make it more modern, clean, and intuitive, making navigation easier. - Search screen redesign ( SearchScreen): Restrictive borders were removed to expand the cards from edge to edge and make better use of the screen. - Dynamic hiding of the "Search" title when the input is activated and correction of typographic margins. - State persistence: Thanks to the migration to koinViewModel(), your searches and results are no longer lost when you leave the screen. - Optimized animations: Transitions throughout the app have been improved for a much smoother and more fluid visual response. - Profile Menu ( UserProfileMenu): Simplified options for external linking (YouTube, Spotify) and playlist extraction have been added.
• 📡 New Transmission Module (Custom Cast) - New Cast Bottom Sheet: Goodbye to the native system selector! We've created a native interface in Compose - Multiplatform with an interactive design. It includes an active device card (tap to disconnect), a device list, an animated "Searching" badge, and a button to force an update of Bluetooth and local devices. - Full integration across players: The new Cast menu has been integrated into all our playback screens ( Pixel, Migrated, ProgressiveBlur , and Glass Now Playing Screens ). The button reacts dynamically and directly opens the new selector. - Improved device scanning ( CastManagerImpl): Filtering has been made more flexible to prevent the system from ignoring valid local network or Bluetooth paths, plus better logs for hardware tracking.
