Mokona

An ad-free Pixiv viewer for Android: every work in its real proportion, Material You, AMOLED black, and R-18 off by default. Available in English and Spanish.

Viewing

- Home with recommendations from your account and new works from artists you follow. - Staggered grid using the real aspect ratio of each work, from 1 to 4 columns. Pull down to refresh. - Detail view with all pages, full-screen zoomable viewer, animated ugoira downloadable as MP4 video, translated tags, related works, comments, original download, sharing, and set as wallpaper. - Comic reader for multi-page works: vertical strip or page-by-page right-to-left, with zoom. Manga recommendations on Home, manga ranking, and series with all their chapters.

Finding

- Daily, weekly, and monthly ranking, plus by audience, originals, and newcomers, for any date. - Search in two sections, Recent and Popular, with autocomplete, sorting, matching, and date filters. Tags appear in your language with the original Japanese name below, and searching in English or Spanish finds the Japanese tag. Artist search included. - Artist profile with follow button, works, manga, bookmarks, and following list.

Living

- Material You with colours from your wallpaper on Android 12 and above. - Light, dark, or system mode, plus AMOLED black for OLED screens. - R-18 content disabled by default and can be enabled in Settings → Content. - Bookmarks tab: public, private, filtered by tag, and viewing history. - Public bookmark with one tap, private bookmark with a long-press, synced with your account. - English or Spanish interface, chosen on first launch and changeable in Settings. Links to pixiv.net open with Mokona.

Adult content

Pixiv marks every work as general, R-18, or R-18G. Mokona starts with that content hidden everywhere: Home, ranking (R-18 modes do not even appear), search, and related works. The switch is in Settings → Content and on the first-launch screen.

Privacy

Login uses Pixiv's own OAuth with PKCE. Mokona opens the official page in your phone's browser and only receives the code back. Your password never passes through the app. Tokens are stored in the app's private storage and renew automatically. Mokona has no ads, no analytics, and no trackers, and talks to no one other than Pixiv.

- Android 8.0 (API 26) or newer - A Pixiv account for login

Note

Mokona does not host or distribute any images. It reads the same API as the official Pixiv app, with your own account, and shows what Pixiv shows you. Every work belongs to its artist. If you like what you see, follow, bookmark, and support it on Pixiv.
