About this app

A Spotify clone for Android, built with Jetpack Compose.

It connects to your real Spotify account and mirrors the Spotify experience:

- Playlists: browse, play, add/remove tracks, create new playlists, all synced with your Spotify account - Lyrics: Spotify's own synced lyrics, with a live preview on the player and a full-screen view - Spotify recommendations: the queue continues with Spotify's real track radio (autoplay), so "up next" matches what open.spotify.com would play - Liked songs, followed artists, listening history and downloads (including lossless FLAC)

What's new

v1.6Oct 11, 2026

Lossless works again: the service that matched Spotify songs to Tidal shut down, so Spotui now finds them itself and skips 30-second previews. - Instant start, then lossless: songs start in a few seconds and crossfade to FLAC once it is ready. - Soulseek fallback (experimental): when the lossless servers do not have a song, Spotui fetches the FLAC from Soulseek. It shares your IP with peers and uses data, and can be turned off in Settings. - Redesigned Local files, with albums, artists, search and FLAC/MP3 badges. - Update check: the "Spotui 1.6" pill on Home tells you when a new version is out.
Fixed
Music stopping after a song or when the app is in the background. - No "next" button in the notification. - Play/pause icon not following the notification or headphones.
