Play Field Portal v1.0.0-alpha.1 — First Public Preview Welcome to the first public release of Play Field Portal (PFP)!

This is an early alpha release meant to gather feedback from the community while I continue developing the launcher. A lot of the core functionality is already here, but there are still bugs to squash, features to finish, and plenty of room for improvement.

Early Alpha Please keep in mind that this is not a finished product.

You may run into:

Bugs and crashes Missing emulator support Incomplete artwork scraping UI inconsistencies Features that are still under active development If something doesn't work the way you expected, chances are it's already on my list—or your feedback will help me prioritize it.

I Need Your Feedback The biggest reason for releasing this build now is to hear from people who actually use it.

I'd love to know things like:

What features would you like to see? What doesn't feel intuitive? What would make this your go-to launcher? Is there something you think should be redesigned? What quality-of-life improvements would make the biggest difference? Whether it's a bug report, a feature request, or simply an idea you think would improve the experience, I'd genuinely like to hear it. Every suggestion helps shape where Play Field Portal goes next.

The goal is to let anyone create their own Play Field Portal themes, much like creating custom PSP themes back in the day, without having to manually edit files.

Custom XMB color schemes Wallpapers Wave customization Icons Sound effects Boot animations Theme packaging Theme sharing One-click installation into Play Field Portal My goal is to make theming one of the defining features of PFP and give the community the tools to create and share their own unique experiences.

Thank You I started working on this because I grew up in the PSP homebrew scene. I loved the people growing up and wanted to bring it to life in a modern way. This is out of my love for Playstation. So please don't sue me Sony :'). I hope that y'all are just as exited to try it out as I was to build it.
