🎵 Namida Snapshots — Beta Builds of Namida Music Player

Namida Snapshots provides beta builds of Namida, a feature-rich music and video player built with Flutter. It gives users access to newer Namida builds before they become part of the stable release channel.

🎧 Music & Video Player

Namida combines local music playback with YouTube-powered audio and video features.

Key capabilities include:

📚 Library & Organization

The built-in library indexes selected folders and provides tools for organizing large music collections.

Users can:

• Edit audio tags • Sort tracks by different properties • Remove duplicate tracks • Exclude folders from indexing • Create and manage playlists • Import M3U playlists • Browse multiple libraries

Namida also supports music libraries from services and servers such as Jellyfin, Subsonic, Navidrome, WebDAV and SMB.

The YouTube section supports streaming, caching and downloading, with features such as:

• Audio-only playback • Video playback • Search and filtering • SponsorBlock integration • Return YouTube Dislike integration • Download filename customization • Video segments and heatmap information • Multiple YouTube profiles • YouTube history import

Additional integrations include Last.fm, Spotify and ListenBrainz data.

🎨 Interface & Customization

Namida provides a Material 3-style interface with dynamic colors based on album artwork. Users can customize the home screen, player behavior, playlists, themes and other playback settings.

The project also supports features such as cross-device synchronization for selected local library data, including history, playlists, favorites, queues, lyrics and caches.

🧪 Beta Channel

Namida Snapshots is intended for users who want to test beta versions of Namida. Snapshot builds may contain newer features and changes that have not yet reached the stable release and may therefore be less predictable.

📜 License

Namida is distributed under its own End User License Agreement (EULA) and is source-available rather than fully open source. The EULA permits personal use and personal compilation/modification, while restricting commercial use, redistribution, rebranding and repackaging without permission. Some components are separately open source, while other components, packages or assets remain proprietary.

⚠️ Important: Namida Snapshots contains beta builds. Features and behavior may change between releases. Use stable Namida builds if you prefer a more established release channel.
