What's New
Added
A richer diagnostics export focused on the signals that are actually useful for support and debugging, including crashes, install and download flow, animation traces, ads state, and package and performance events.
Localized diagnosis report section labels for the shipped language set.
New shared visual treatment for cards and buttons through softer elevated surfaces and refined surface styling across the app.
Changed
Reworked the VersionSheet install and uninstall experience with smoother morph choreography, cleaner progress states, and better synchronization with the Downloads surface.
Refined install and uninstall indicators to use the newer circular visual style and align their palette more closely with the active button and theme treatment.
Polished sheet, card, button, spacing, and pure-black theme surfaces so key UI elements feel more intentional and less flat.
Normalized the About quick-link cards so the Website, Discord, Donate, and GitHub tiles present as a more consistent set.
Refreshed the safe AndroidX and test dependency set while leaving the network stack and Ads SDK untouched.
Fixed
Stuck install and uninstall spinners in VersionSheet were resolved, including cancel and success paths that could previously leave the sheet in the wrong visual state.
VersionSheet and Downloads now share install and uninstall state more reliably so progress, waiting states, and completion feedback stay aligned between surfaces.
Android CI now installs JetBrains Runtime 17 so GitHub Actions matches the Gradle toolchain request instead of failing on Foojay vendor resolution.
Cleaned up dead legacy indicator leftovers and tightened diagnostics formatting so support reports are easier to read.
Recent work
Restored and locked the stable VersionSheet success morph behavior after regression-prone download and install flow changes.
Brought the VersionSheet spinner and uninstall indicator in line with the newer visual direction while preserving theme-aware coloring and existing button identity.
Refined diagnostics export presentation, localization, and section grouping so shared reports are easier to scan and act on.

Public release flow
Tag a build, publish the GitHub release, and let the app show the same notes to users.
Highlights
- Polished release browsing: Open an app, scan its versions, and move through release details without extra clutter.
- Signed download flow: The public catalogue points at token endpoints, while the Worker keeps the real file path private.
- GitHub release awareness: The app and website both surface the latest GitHub release so changelogs stay aligned.
- Clean project tooling: CI, release automation, docs, contribution templates, and support links are already in place.
In practice, HYDRV keeps the public release flow simple: the app reads the visible catalogue, the Worker signs the real download path, and GitHub stays the source of truth for release notes.
