🌐 Titanium Browser — Privacy-Focused Chromium Browser

Titanium Browser is an open-source Android web browser based on Chromium and Vanadium, the privacy-focused browser project associated with GrapheneOS. It adds support for browser extensions and extra customization while maintaining a familiar Chromium browsing experience.

🧩 Browser Extension Support

Titanium Browser supports installing extensions from several sources:

• Chrome Web Store • Opera Add-ons • Microsoft Edge Add-ons • Local CRX or ZIP packages through Titanium Extension • Manually loaded extensions for testing

Extensions can also be configured to run in Incognito mode when the relevant permission is enabled.

Based on Vanadium, Titanium incorporates privacy- and security-oriented changes alongside its own modifications.

The project aims to improve browser privacy and security, but it does not provide the same system-level protections as GrapheneOS running Vanadium.

Advanced features are provided separately through Titanium Extension for Android, which can also support other compatible Chromium-based browsers.

Depending on the extension and browser setup, these additions include:

Titanium Browser is designed specifically for Android devices. It is a separate project from the desktop Helium browser and is not affiliated with that project.

Titanium Browser improves selected aspects of Chromium's privacy and security, but no browser can guarantee complete protection against tracking, malicious websites or device-level vulnerabilities. For stronger system-level hardening, the project recommends GrapheneOS with Vanadium on supported devices.
