About this app

Axora is a streamlined fork of AxManager focused on delivering a high-performance client for Android device management. It retains core ADB and non-root control capabilities while removing unnecessary bloat, prioritising speed, simplicity, and resource efficiency.

Unlike root-dependent managers such as KernelSU, Axora is designed ADB and non-root first. Root access is fully supported but never required, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices.

Features

- Minimalistic design with a clean, uncluttered interface focused solely on essential device control tasks. - Performance optimisations for faster startup, reduced memory usage, and smoother operation than upstream forks. - Full ADB and non-root support: complete functionality without root access. - Core tools: built-in shell executor, unrooted plugin management, and a WebUI for browser-based shell access. - Optional root compatibility: seamlessly leverages root access when available, with no dependency on root permissions.

Requirements

- Android 8.0 (API 26) or newer - Optional: root access for advanced use cases

What's new

v1.5.1.r377Oct 15, 2026
  • New & improved
  • Home screen rework — refreshed layout, metric cards and quick actions with refined spacing and palette-driven animated accents. Settings reorganized — five category cards (Connection / Appearance / Activation / Path / Other) now open dedicated screens; the search box still filters results inline. Redesigned floating pill bottom bar — fully-rounded capsule shape with a circular active indicator. Updated appearance settings — theme plumbing, color dialogs and snackbars overhauled; new strings (auto-restart, clear commands) plus translations. Activation / binder reliability Fixed the "server running but shows Need to Activate" state caused by the server binder being intercepted (Shizuku companion) — the manager now always gets the server binder directly. Reworked binder delivery — on-demand binder request with bounded retry, automatic re-push when the manager process returns, skip force-stopped packages, plus proof-of-death liveness checks and health-worker/auto-restart refinements. Hardened binder contract — descriptor/interface guard when receiving binders.
  • Fixes
  • ADB pairing leak — the pairing client is now always closed, releasing the socket and native SPAKE2/AES context on success, failure, and cancellation. @Sehan64 Plugin/add-on startup hang — script stdout/stderr are fully drained before waiting, so scripts printing more than 64 KB can no longer deadlock startup. @Sehan64 No more secret leakage in logs — ADB auth tokens/signatures removed from exception messages; adb failures log the error class only. Thanks @Sehan64 Removed the server's unconditional wake-lock hold; verbose logging now only happens in debug builds. CI / tooling @Sehan64 New GitHub Actions workflow (build-apk.yml) builds and uploads the debug APK on pushes/PRs to main — with the broken setup-android action replaced by direct sdkmanager installs (NDK, CMake, platform, build-tools). @Sehan64 Bumped the api submodule (Axeron-API#1): binder interface guard, direct binder-request handoff, server liveness probe, start-time sentinel, and theme-scale preference.
