🎯 Rodroid Chams Tester — VIP v2 — Major Upgrade!
✨ What's new in v2
• New Vulkan Support — added a vulkan chams support, and its experimental and not fully tested 100%
• Gles 3 — complete reconsturction of chams.h, now it uses gles3 latest and now chams are better then they where before.
• Depth-aware X-Ray — re-issues the target draw twice so occluded parts render dimmer than visible parts. You can tell at a glance which enemies are behind cover.
• Character mesh only — fingerprints character draws via GPU bone uniforms (unity_BoneMatrices, _BoneIndices), VAT (_AnimMap / _PosTex), and a CPU-skinned VBO churn heuristic. Keeps chams off walls.
• Chams instanced draws — catches glDrawElementsInstanced batches that modern URP engines use for crowds and enemies.
• MRT pass filter — auto-skips shadow caster, depth-only, and deferred MRT-off passes. No more red shadow maps.
• Async shader dumps — wraps binary capture in glFenceSync so the dump doesn't freeze the render thread.
• HUD overlay — live counters for draw calls/sec, classified programs, skinned meshes (GPU/CPU/VAT), instanced draws, chams applied, MRT skipped.
• Event-driven shader list — Show Shaders and Pick Shader only rebuild when a new shader is actually detected. No more periodic UI churn.
🐛 Bugs fixed in v2
• Floating-window search boxes now accept keyboard input. Tapping the search field in the floating Show Shaders / Pick Shader / Shader Inspector windows now opens the IME and lets you type — the focus flag is toggled on touch and restored on focus loss.
• Show Shaders no longer lags when many shaders are captured. The list now rebuilds only on count/current-shader changes instead of a full refresh every 500 ms.
• Fixed shader search input being unfocusable inside floating windows on Android 12+.
• Setup screen step 4 now correctly describes loading librodroidnav.so in the game's main activity (generic — works for Unity, Unreal, anything).
• Fixed also a bug that when you open the chams tester in games like walking zombie 2, the dialog/floating window show shader and select shader where cut off, now this bug is fixed.
✨ What's new in Free Version
• UI upgrade — now the ui has the style of the chams tester with the settings beign in the bottom and removed the tabs.
• Select shader — changed from ungly dialog to floating window.
