Cache now survives restarts: Moved the player cache into its own player-cache/ directory so Media3 only deletes its own files. Verified a 29 MB cached file survives a restart and plays directly without contacting the provider. - Format rows now show evidence: Track format info now identifies its source — current resolve, saved data, local file, or actively decoded audio — preventing stale format data from being mistaken for actual lossless playback. - Animations work even when system animations are off: Playback buttons, press effects, spinners, and download indicators now use frame-driven motion, so they remain visibly responsive on devices with animation scale set to 0. - Login-required playback is handled correctly: LOGIN_REQUIRED errors are now distinguished from generic network failures, avoiding wasted retries/cache clears and immediately showing the “Play this one from YouTube Music” action. - Blocked network routes recover automatically: Hush now detects network and proxy changes and rechecks blocked routes once per change instead of waiting on a timer, allowing playback to recover when the route becomes available. - Spotify playlists now work in Android Auto: Spotify playlists appear alongside YouTube content, library ordering is respected, quick-add uses a real session command, and online tracks are correctly exposed as browsable media leaves.
