v0.9.9Aug 26, 2026

Fixed: on Android, a connection that never came up could leave Nova stuck on "Connecting" with no way out. Disconnect did nothing, closing the app and reopening it came straight back to the same screen, and the only thing that helped was restarting the phone. Nova gave up after thirty seconds but only changed what it said on screen, while the tunnel service kept running in the background. It now shuts that down properly, so a server that will not connect leaves you back at the start instead of stranded.
Fixed: on iPhone, locking the screen while Nova was searching the free server list could close the app. The search kept dialling servers while the system was putting the app to sleep around it. Searching now stops when you leave the app and keeps whatever it had already measured.
Fixed: on Windows, the tray icon's menu stayed open until you picked something from it. Clicking anywhere else left it on screen.
Fixed: a server added on its own, rather than through a subscription, was never checked for whether traffic was really flowing, so the dashboard could sit on "Verifying" for as long as it was connected and never reach "No traffic".
