DeltaTor is a Tor client for Android and Windows designed to establish connections through Tor bridges and alternative pluggable transports. Its automatic connection mode launches multiple transport options and keeps the one that connects successfully first, helping users find a working route on networks where direct Tor access may be restricted.

🌐 Tor Connections and Bridges

- Connect directly to Tor where available. - Use obfs4, WebTunnel, and Snowflake transports to help connect on restricted networks. - Automatically test multiple connection methods and select the first successful one. - Use built-in bridge lists and refresh them when updates are available. - Remember previously successful bridges to improve subsequent connection attempts. - Select supported exit countries on Android.

⚡ Automatic Connection and Monitoring

DeltaTor can start several Tor connection attempts in parallel instead of waiting for one transport to fail before trying another. The application reports bootstrap progress and stops unsuccessful competing attempts after a connection succeeds.

On supported builds, additional tools monitor circuit health, help recover stalled connections, and display connection speed and traffic totals.

🔌 VPN and Proxy Options

- Android: Runs Tor within the app and routes supported device traffic through Android's VPN interface. - Windows: Provides a portable client with a local SOCKS5 proxy and an optional system proxy or TUN tunnel, depending on the build. - Configure transport modes, bridges, and connection behavior through the app's controls. - View connection logs to troubleshoot individual transport attempts.

The Windows build can run from an extracted folder without a conventional installer. Its TUN mode may require administrator privileges.

🔒 Privacy

DeltaTor states that it does not use accounts, analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting. Its documented external requests include bridge-list downloads and update checks, plus a one-time installation-count request on Android.

Once the Tor tunnel is active, routed traffic passes through Tor. Tor helps separate your destination from your originating IP address, but it does not guarantee complete anonymity or protect every application automatically.

The Android application bundles its Tor components and does not require a separate Tor installation or companion app.

The DeltaTor Core is licensed under the DeltaTor Core License v1.0, a custom license rather than a standard permissive open-source license.
