The project name and icon are inspired by "Kazamata Neri" from "星空鉄道とシロの旅".

NeriPlayer is a native Android audio player based on Jetpack Compose + Media3. It does not build a public cloud service, but integrates online content from Netease Cloud Music, Bilibili and YouTube Music on the premise that users have third-party platform account capabilities, and provides local playback, download, caching, playlist management and multiple synchronization/backup capabilities.

▼ Current positioning:

* Account is ability: Enable search, playback, playlist and favorites access through third-party platform authorization. Local priority: Playback cache, download files, playlists, history, settings and authorization information are saved locally on the device by default.

* Optional synchronization: You can synchronize playlists, favorites, recent plays, song play statistics, song open statistics, and local song play statistics to the user's own GitHub repository (a private repository is used by default when creating a new app) or WebDAV remote files.

* Respect privacy and account security: The synchronization policy is deliberately decentralized, with data written to remote GitHub/WebDAV controls by the user rather than uploaded to the centralized service of the project maintainer. It is not that applications have the ability to write back playback history to third-party music platforms; however, clients on centralized music platforms usually have risk control and behavioral sampling mechanisms. Direct reporting of historical playback data may trigger risks such as abnormal login, abnormal playback, or account freezing. For account security reasons, NeriPlayer will not upload local playback history and playback statistics to these platforms for the time being.

* Single Activity + Compose architecture: MainActivity is the only external entry, and the UI is organized by Compose NavHost, dynamic sidebar, Mini Player and Now Playing overlay.

* Starting and restoring the link: The normal starting process is Loading -> Disclaimer -> Onboarding -> Main; if a crash or system ANR occurs during the last boot, Safe Mode will be entered first.

* Test guardrails: Key links such as download storage, synchronization merge, YouTube playback compatibility, listening together, lyrics analysis, playback strategy, configuration backup and safe mode all have corresponding unit tests or device tests.

* Netease Cloud Music: Login, song search, selected song lists, albums, song lists/album list search, playback, download, lyrics, playback page metadata completion, playback without permission, sync local collections to Netease Cloud My favorite music, artist details, hot song/album pagination and artist attention; Comments on the playback page support popular (default), latest, recommendation sorting, replied content and building expansion, long-press copy, as well as likes, unlikes, comments and replies after logging in. The draft is retained if sending fails, and will not be automatically reissued if the network result is uncertain. Comments give priority to the memory cache of the current login session, and no refresh animation will be displayed when the background check is consistent; opening the comment area will not automatically invoke the keyboard.

* Bilibili： Web login, QR code login, video search, create favorites, subscribe to favorites, collection, favorites/collection list search, sub-P to audio playback, download; link identification will retain the selected sub-P and can restore the collection context from season_id or video details; playback page comments support popular (default) and latest sorting, as well as likes and unlikes after login; latest lists and subsequent paginations may require login. The comment building numbers are displayed in the order of the current list, and support paging in the building, long-press copying, and posting comments and replies after logging in. It also supports cache priority display and background silent verification isolated by login session.

* YouTube Music: Compatible with login, homepage/media library playlist browsing, playlist details, search and playback, and includes PoToken / JS Challenge related support; content access is still subject to platform rules and user account permissions.

* QQ Music: Currently, it is only used for playback page metadata and lyrics completion, and does not implement login, playback and library page data.

* Local audio: Supports external sharing/opening import, device scanning, authorized folder scanning, local file playback, local singer classification, sharing and local song list management.
