• What's new in v1.2.2 Engine maintenance moves into the build pipeline, the in-app updater is gone, the unreliable country picker is gone and endpoint selection is back in the engine’s hands, and 1.2.1's performance and compatibility problems are fixed at the root.
• ⚠️ You can install this directly over 1.2.1 — no uninstall, and your settings are kept.
• 🔄 Auto engine upgrades in CI: checks Aether Core repo (v1.4 reference), preserves app patches. If GitHub unreachable, keeps current engine. Core version shown in About.
• 🗑️ In-app updater removed. All updates now only via official GitHub Releases. Update checker, card, REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES, FileProvider deleted.
• 🌐 No country/server list — engine picks endpoint by scanning WARP ranges and measuring response. Country picker was label-only, removed. Smart Auto still handles DPI/protocol selection. User settings (ip:port, custom scan) override. Forced IP filtering removed (unreliable).
• ⚡ Performance fixes: memory leak fixed (800-line ring buffer, batched writes, 512KB rotate). Lower idle CPU (blocks on process, no polling). v2rayNG conflict fixed (ports 10810/10811). Signature pinned in CI. Protocol switching no longer stalls — old engine killed, port freed. MASQUE/hand-picked protocols get retry with anti-DPI if first pass fails. Disconnect instant (interruptible wait, kill natives first). Build purges stale 1.2.1 files. Signing cert protected (no new keystore, fingerprint pinned).
• 🎨 UI: aurora animation removed (flat background). Menu builds only when open. Log subscribes only when visible. Advanced sheet opens instantly (animates first, loads after).
• 🔒 100% line-by-line security audit for 1.2.2. Fixed: secrets, crypto/MitM, DNS/IPv6/IP leaks, tunnel bypass, storage, permissions, logging, deps, network config.
