An open source Instagram app for Android without distractions. This project was built as an alternative to DFInstagram, which hasn't been maintained for a long time and was difficult to update. It is shared so that others can do the same for themselves. What Gets Disabled All content blocks are individual runtime toggles. Long-press the Home tab at the bottom-left of the main tab bar to open the settings dialog, then check or uncheck what you want blocked. A single APK covers every combination. - Home Feed: blocked by default, toggleable, network-level blocking. - Explore: blocked by default, toggleable, network-level blocking. - Reels: blocked by default, toggleable, network-level blocking. - Stories: visible by default, toggleable, network-level blocking. - Analytics & telemetry: blocked by default, not toggleable, always blocked. - Shopping / commerce preloads: blocked by default, not toggleable, always blocked. What Still Works - Direct Messages: work. - Profile: works. - Reels in DMs: work. - Search: works. - Notifications: work. Settings Dialog Long-press the Home tab (the house icon at the bottom-left of Instagram's main tab bar). A dialog lists the four content toggles; changes persist across restarts.
