An offline-first Android emergency companion built for situations where connectivity is limited or unavailable.

What it does Live GPS location — gets the device’s current coordinates and saves a safe location locally. Map handoff — opens saved coordinates in Google Maps. Download your own city/region in Google Maps before an outage. Emergency profile — save your own name, blood group, medical notes, allergies, medicines, and emergency contacts. SOS draft — creates a visible SMS draft with your saved location and selected emergency contacts. SignalSafe never silently sends messages. Contacts — pick contacts from your phone and mark selected people as emergency contacts. Check-in templates — customise and send short check-ins such as “I AM SAFE” through nearby mesh. Nearby mesh — Bluetooth Low Energy messaging between nearby SignalSafe phones. Both devices need Bluetooth enabled and nearby mesh/watch mode running. LoRa / Meshtastic — send long-range messages through a compatible Meshtastic radio after it has been paired through the official Meshtastic app. Offline AI assistant — on-device local responses powered by an embedded GGUF model and llama.cpp. Offline guides — basic first-aid, survival, preparedness, navigation, and safety guidance stored on-device. Settings — working dark-mode toggle, Bluetooth access, Meshtastic shortcut, and local-data controls.
