EKA2L1 Dual Stick

Android-focused fork of EKA2L1, the Symbian OS / N-Gage emulator written in C++17.

This fork focuses specifically on Android and on adding proper support for two analog sticks, with the goal of improving controls and playability for Symbian and N-Gage games on modern Android handhelds and devices.

EKA2L1 emulates the Symbian OS / N-Gage kernel and reimplements many of its critical app servers and libraries in order to run games and applications on modern platforms.

Compared to the broader upstream project, this fork currently focuses on a more tailored Android experience with ongoing improvements in controls and usability.

So far, changes in this fork include:

Improved support for dual-stick controls for more natural movement and aiming Added two new grid views for a more flexible and modern game browser presentation Various UI / UX improvements across Android-specific screens and menus Improved formatting and alignment of texts, buttons and input fields for a cleaner and more consistent layout Polished parts of the launcher and setup flow for a more controller-friendly experience Improved presentation of informational screens such as About, Translators and Special Thanks Added and fixed selected game / launcher icons for a more complete frontend experience Added the ability to export installed games as a preconfigured pack for easier later re-import and setup Export and import of individual games including savegames Improved translations for missing parts
