About this app

Aerial is a lightweight Android radio player.

Features

- Search for stations using the Radio Browser API. - Add stations manually when a stream URL is known. - Play live streams with Android media controls. - Save favorite stations. - Switch between list and grid station views. - Store station logos locally for faster loading. - Export and import stations, settings, and saved logos as a zip backup. - Adaptive launcher icon with Android themed icon support.

Data And Backup

Aerial stores stations in Room, preferences in DataStore, and downloaded station logos in internal app storage under logos/.

The in-app export/import feature is the supported way to move user data between installs. Android system backup excludes the internal logo cache to avoid large or stale auto-backups.

Fixed
Search no longer flashes "no stations found" while a search is still running. - Results already on screen stay visible when the country or tag filters change. - The navigation bar no longer animates against the back gesture when leaving Settings. - The splash screen can no longer hang if a station source fails at startup. - Finnish and Polish can now be selected in the in-app language picker on Android 12 and below. - Stale playback requests are ignored, and importing a malformed settings backup can no longer overwrite your data. - The home screen widget no longer registers a duplicate network callback.
Changed
Updated the Italian, Russian, Estonian, Polish and English (United Kingdom) translations.
