• Audio Output (AO) Mode — a new setting under Playback → Sound Effects & Equalizer with three modes: Auto (AudioTrack), AudioTrack 16-bit and OpenSL ES. AudioTrack-first by default. • Compatible with rootless audio effect apps (e.g. RootlessJamesDSP) — ZenFile now broadcasts audio effect control sessions per Android's official protocol, so effect apps can take over normally; the "unsupported app" prompt is gone and the audio gaps when switching tracks are fixed. • Switching AO mode during playback applies immediately — no need to restart the player or reopen the file. • Better opening of encrypted files — in-place encrypted APK / DOC / ZIP files can be temporarily decrypted and opened, auto-cleaned when done; Vault folders can be browsed directly. • Faster LAN scan in the SMB wizard — scanning drops from ~20-30s to ~6-10s on a typical network.
• 🐛 Fixes
• Fixed case-only renames not taking effect — e.g. a.jpg → a.JPG now really renames on local and Root / Shizuku restricted paths. • Fixed folder names not becoming ciphertext when re-encrypting in place after decryption — for both local and remote folders. • Fixed deleted audio files reappearing in the category page. • Fixed empty file list after restoring a Vault backup. • Fixed breadcrumb navigation jumping to the wrong level (WebDAV & local root). • Fixed SMB anonymous login crash on SMB 3.x servers — smbj upgraded to 0.14.0 with an automatic SMB2-only dialect fallback. • Fixed the equalizer panel title overflowing the window in some languages — long titles now wrap automatically. • Fixed server list IPs being truncated by the ellipsis — the type and IP now show on separate lines.
