Just+ Player

It is a fork of Just (Video) Player by Marcel Dopita and keeps what makes it good: no ads, no tracking, barely any permissions, ExoPlayer's ffmpeg extension for AC3, E-AC-3, DTS, DTS-HD and TrueHD, and audio that stays in sync over Bluetooth. On top of that it adds a reworked player interface and the features below.

What Just+ adds Player and controls

Reworked controls: poster, title and a metadata line (container · resolution · codec · fps · bitrate · audio track) in the header, next to the clock and the time playback will end Tap anywhere on the time bar to seek there Hold the picture for 2× speed, let go to return to normal Ten scaling modes — Fit, Crop, Fill, 16:9, 4:3, 16:10, 2:1, 2.35:1, 2.39:1, 5:4. A tap cycles the first five, a long press opens the full picker Volume up to 200 % with a loudness boost, and volume and brightness gestures that report a percentage instead of an unlabelled bar Lock the screen from the bottom bar, unlock with a swipe Transfer rate under the loading ring, so a stalling stream is obvious Optional always-on clock over the video, and a mode where the volume keys and gestures change only the player and leave the device volume alone Skip segments

Skip intros, recaps, ad breaks and end credits — segments are drawn right on the time bar Segments come from the launching app, or are looked up online in SkipDB, SkipMe.db, IntroHater, IntroDB, TheIntroDB and Aniskip The sources vote: a segment several databases agree on is used, and its timing is taken from the most reliable one rather than averaged Separately for the intro and the end credits: a Skip button for five seconds, a Skip button for the whole segment, or skip automatically Every skip can be undone, and an automatic skip can be cancelled before it happens A session offset slider for when a database is a few seconds off Sleep timer

Off, 15/30/45/60/90 minutes, after the current file, or a custom time on a VLC-style keypad Fades the volume out over the last 30 seconds instead of cutting off mid-sentence Tracks and quality

Manual video quality: optimal, highest, a specific resolution, or one of the sources the launching app supplied. A language can be promoted straight from the audio panel, without a trip to Settings Sturdier audio: passthrough (AC3/DTS/TrueHD) is rebuilt after a seek or a resume, a format the device mishandles is learned and avoided, and playback survives the audio output disappearing Watch together The room protocol is LAMPA's lparty plugin's, so a viewer in the web player and a viewer here can sit in the same room without either knowing which the other is using Small differences are closed by trimming the playback rate a few percent, which is inaudible; only a gap too wide to walk off is jumped Somebody joining mid-film has nothing buffered, so the room stops where it is until everyone can carry on, and everyone starts again together A badge with the room code and how many are watching, and a line when somebody else pauses, seeks, arrives or leaves Where there is nothing to share a link with — a TV box — the invite is shown as a QR code instead Android TV

A full-screen error page with plain-language messages instead of ExoPlayer codes, and Copy / Share / Upload log Watchdogs for a load that never starts, a stall in the middle of a film, and a live stream that keeps dropping Fallbacks for Dolby Vision profile 7, for tunneled playback that freezes the picture, and for HLS playlists served without an extension Launcher integration

Intent extras for position, title, poster, subtitles, HTTP headers, a playlist of episodes with per-episode segments and resume positions, quality variants, and IMDb/TMDB ids — as used by LAMPA/Lampac Sideloaded builds check GitHub releases for updates, show the release notes and install them in place
