The app no longer crashes in the background after about 6 hours, and folder sync no longer stops silently until the app is reopened. This was caused by the Android 15+ dataSync foreground service time limit. The companion service now uses the specialUse type and stops cleanly instead of crashing if Android refuses a foreground start. - Folder sync no longer uploads the same file twice and inflates the merged count. Files awaiting deletion after upload are no longer re-uploaded, failed uploads are no longer retried by both the offline queue and the next scan, the app re-reads sync state written by background syncs instead of a stale copy, and the next scan's cutoff is now the actual scan start instead of the earlier schedule slot.
