About this app
Turns the grey surfaces of your apps into true black, for AMOLED screens.
Android's dark mode is dark grey (around #121212), not black. On an OLED panel, black pixels are switched off, so true black saves battery and looks deeper. BlackOut is a set of tools that push apps and pages the rest of the way to black, each with a different trade-off between how much it can do and what it needs.
