What Athenia does

Athenia is a team Al assistant that runs entirely on your device. The chat model, document search and image understanding are computed locally - no cloud, no accounts. Your conversations, documents and search indexes stay in the app's own storage, and the built-in server can share access with your team over the local network if you choose to.

Why we built this

Modern Al moved every conversation, every document and every question into somebody else's cloud - accounts, tracking, terms that change without asking. Athenia is a small counter-move: a team Al assistant whose model, memory and document index all live on your own hardware. Nothing you type or import ever leaves the device unless you decide to share it on your own network. We can't fix the whole industry. We can make one assistant that's entirely yours.
