About this app

Set a fake GPS location on Android and keep it set.

Plenty of mock-location apps work fine until you leave them. Then the fix goes stale, the system reclaims the provider, and your real position comes back. Mirage runs the spoof from a foreground service, so it holds while the app is closed, swiped away, or the phone is dozing.

What it does Pick a spot — tap the map, type coordinates, or search a place name.

Hold it. The position is pushed roughly once a second from a foreground service. One push isn't enough: apps discard fixes that stop being refreshed, so the service keeps sending until you stop it.

Walk a route. Drop waypoints, set a speed, loop or run once. The reported fix carries a real bearing and velocity, so it doesn't just teleport between points.

Drift. On by default. A real receiver sitting on a table still wanders a few metres — satellite geometry moves, the atmosphere delays the signal, buildings bounce it. A spoof that reports one identical coordinate forever doesn't, and that's a giveaway. Drift adds a correlated few-metre wander and varies the reported accuracy along with it.

Stop from the notification, without opening the app.

See your real position next to the fake one, if you want it.
