MyRadar is a fast, easy-to-use, and powerful weather app that displays an animated weather radar around your current location, letting you quickly see what kind of weather you're in for. Simply launch the app and your location will appear on the screen with a real-time animated radar with a radar contour length of up to two hours. This basic functionality provides the fastest way to get a quick snapshot of the weather on the go, and is what has made MyRadar so successful over the years. Check your phone and get an instant estimate of the weather that will affect your day.

In addition to real-time radar, MyRadar has a growing list of weather and environmental data layers that you can overlay on top of the map; our animated winds layer provides a breathtaking visual representation of both surface and jet stream winds; the frontal boundaries layer shows high and low pressure systems, as well as the frontal boundaries themselves; The earthquake layer is a great way to stay up to date with the latest seismic activity reports, fully customizable by severity and timing; our hurricane layer allows users to stay up to date with the latest tropical storms and hurricanes around the world; the aviation layer overlays AIRMET, SIGMET and other aviation-related data, including the ability to track flights and display IFR flight plans and trajectories, while the wildfire layer keeps users up to date with the latest fires in the United States.

In addition to data layers, MyRadar has the ability to send weather and environmental alerts, including alerts from the National Weather Center such as tornado and severe weather alerts. MyRadar includes the ability to receive tropical storm and hurricane alerts; you can set the app to send you alerts any time a tropical storm or hurricane is forming, or when there's an update or downgrade.
