Yumi

🐱 Yumi is a modern, open-source VPN and proxy client for Android, powered by the sing-box core and built with Google's Material 3 Expressive design.

It combines extensive protocol and subscription support with advanced connection testing, smart routing, DNS management, automatic failover, and a clean modern interface.

🚀 Main Features

• Powered by sing-box — uses sing-box as its networking core for modern proxy, VPN, DNS, and routing capabilities.

• Wide protocol support — supports VLESS, VMess, Trojan, Shadowsocks, Hysteria, Hysteria2, TUIC, AnyTLS, WireGuard, SSH, SOCKS, HTTP and more.

• Multiple subscription formats — import subscriptions as Base64 or plain link lists, Clash YAML, sing-box JSON, Xray/v2ray JSON and SIP008.

• QR & link import — quickly add servers and configurations using QR codes or supported links such as vless://, vmess://, trojan://, ss://, hysteria2://, tuic://, anytls://, wireguard://, ssh://, socks:// and http://.

• Advanced connection testing — measure latency using TCP handshake, full TLS handshake, or a three-probe median. REALITY connections can be tested beyond simply checking whether the port is open.

• Real speed testing — measure download speed, upload speed, latency and variation through the selected proxy server, with live graphical results.

• Smart server switching — change the active server without interrupting the existing tunnel. Traffic counters and session timers remain active during the switch.

• Automatic failover — when the current server stops responding, Yumi can automatically switch to another working server from the same subscription.

🌐 Smart Routing

Yumi provides three main routing modes:

VPN • Direct • Rules

Rule-based routing can send selected Russian websites and addresses directly without using the VPN. GeoIP and GeoSite rules are bundled with the application, so routing does not depend on downloading rule lists before connecting.

Additional options include:

• LAN bypass • Ad-domain blocking • Per-app routing • Direct or proxied traffic policies

🌐 DNS Resolver Management

DNS servers are managed as independent profiles and can be switched with a single tap, even while the VPN tunnel is active.

Supported DNS transports include:

TLS • QUIC • DoH • sdns://

Yumi can also operate in a “Direct” mode while using the selected DNS resolver, allowing normal network traffic while resolving domains through your chosen DNS service.

🔐 Privacy

Yumi states that it does not collect analytics or send personal usage data anywhere.

Servers, subscriptions and private keys are stored locally on the device, while Android backup for this data is disabled so these sensitive items are not uploaded to Google cloud backups.

For panels that require a device identifier, Yumi generates a random x-hwid once during installation instead of using a real device identifier.

🌍 Languages

English 🇬🇧 and Russian 🇷🇺

The application follows the system language by default, with an option to select the language manually.

📱 Android

Yumi requires Android 8.0 (API 26) or newer.

ARM64 is the recommended build for most modern devices, while an ARMv7 build is available for older phones.
