Android app (Kotlin) that turns a spare Android phone into a WiFi Direct hotspot + proxy so a PC can reach the internet through the phone's data connection — UDP included.

Starts a WiFi Direct access point with a custom SSID + password Runs SOCKS5 (1080, TCP + UDP ASSOCIATE) and HTTP (8282, plain + CONNECT) together, plus legacy SOCKS4a (1081) Built-in control panel at http://192.168.49.1:8283/ — live status, per-client usage, restart (backup panel on 8284 survives crashes) Runs as an aggressive foreground service (wakelocks, START_STICKY, battery-exemption + autostart shortcuts) Self-updating: checks GitHub for new releases, downloads ejao.apk in the background, one tap to install

Using it Install ejao.apk (GitHub → Releases), grant the asked permissions, set a WiFi password (8–63 chars), tap START PROXY. The phone creates a hotspot like DIRECT-XXEjaoAP and runs the proxy on it. Connect your PC to that hotspot with the shown password. Run a SOCKS5 client like Proxifier so every program goes through the phone — TCP, UDP, DNS: Profile → Proxy Servers → Add: address 192.168.49.1, port 1080, protocol SOCKS5, tick UDP Profile → Proxification Rules: route everything through it; add 192.168.49.0/24 as Direct so the control panel stays reachable Need browser-only TCP without extra software? Use the built-in Windows proxy instead: Settings → Network → Proxy → manual 192.168.49.1:8282 (HTTP). No UDP that way — details on the wiki.
