The app is easy to customize and integrates seamlessly with your favorite calendar/contacts app (including default apps). It can also be used on its own if you have CalDAV, CardDAV, or Tasks only.

Important Compatibility Notes For all Android 4.1 and Samsung users: There is an Android bug that may cause accounts to be lost after rebooting the device. To avoid this problem, install the free app "DAVdroid JB Workaround". Samsung users: The problem does not occur if you download DAVdroid from Samsung Store or Amazon Store.

On some Android 4.4.2 devices, DAVdroid accounts disappear after updating the app. If you have this problem, install the free app "DAVdroid JB Workaround". Details: http://davdroid.bitfire.at/faq/entry/account-gone-after-updating

Attention: DAVdroid cannot be moved to an SD card! This will result in strange behavior including account and data loss.
