⚪ WhiteAestherMobile is a native Android client for the Aether encrypted route engine, designed to find a working network path through restrictive networks and carry your device traffic through an encrypted tunnel.

Unlike traditional proxy clients that require you to manually select a server, WhiteAestherMobile can discover reachable endpoints, validate real connectivity, and automatically establish a working route.

🚀 Main Features

• Aether-powered — built around the Aether encrypted route engine for adaptive connectivity through restrictive networks.

• Automatic endpoint discovery — probes reachable Cloudflare endpoints and searches for a usable connection path automatically.

• Real path validation — a route is accepted only after an authenticated MASQUE handshake succeeds and real traffic is confirmed through the path.

• MASQUE transport — supports MASQUE over HTTP/3 (QUIC) as well as HTTP/2 over TLS/TCP for networks where UDP is blocked or unreliable.

• Traffic obfuscation — configurable padding profiles make tunnel traffic harder to fingerprint.

• Automatic failover — failed paths are retried automatically, with progressive backoff and up to eight connection attempts.

• Adaptive routing profiles — choose between Adaptive, Patchy Signal, Strict Network, or Manual modes depending on your network conditions.

• Automatic fallback — endpoints can be discovered automatically or pinned to a specific IP:port with an optional fallback endpoint.

🌐 Traffic Modes

WhiteAestherMobile provides two ways to use the connection:

Whole Device VPN — creates an Android VpnService tunnel that captures IPv4, IPv6, and DNS traffic from the device.

Local SOCKS5 Proxy — exposes a local SOCKS5 listener at 127.0.0.1:1819 for applications that you configure to use the proxy manually.

🔗 Exit Chain

For users who need an additional routing layer, WhiteAestherMobile supports an optional Exit Chain.

A second-hop node can be provided through a subscription or pasted link and connected from inside the Aether tunnel. This allows websites to see the selected exit node instead of the Cloudflare endpoint.

🛡️ Privacy & Security

Privacy is a core part of the project:

• No accounts • No analytics • No telemetry • Encrypted private identity keys stored in app-private storage • Cleartext traffic blocked • Android backups disabled • Diagnostics are never sent automatically

When generating a diagnostics report, the application lets you review the information before sending it and can replace IP addresses with placeholders.

🔧 Network Controls

WhiteAestherMobile provides additional controls for difficult networks, including:

• IPv4-only mode • Configurable obfuscation strength • Automatic or manual endpoints • Adaptive connection profiles • Background operation support • Detailed connection diagnostics

The application can also continue retrying alternative paths when individual routes fail, making temporary network failures less disruptive.

WhiteAestherMobile requires Android 8.0 (API 26) or newer and provides builds for:

• ARM64 • ARMv7

A universal APK is also available for users who are unsure which architecture their device uses.

🔓 Open Source

WhiteAestherMobile is released under the AGPL-3.0 license.

The project is open source and includes the Aether engine together with its native Android bridge. Release APKs are accompanied by SHA256 checksums for download verification.
