ReSukiSU

A fork of SukiSU-Ultra, adding some interesting changes, making it more stable, and easier to build.

Features

1. Kernel-based su and root access management. 2. Module system based on metamodules: a pluggable infrastructure for systemless modifications. 3. App Profile: Lock root privileges in a cage. 4. Supports non-GKI and GKI 1.0. 5. Tweaks to the manager theme and the built-in susfs management tool. 6. Multi-manager support; by default, Official KernelSU/RKSU/MKSU/SukiSU are supported to work as managers with ReSukiSU's kernel.

Compatibility Status

- ReSukiSU officially supports Android GKI 2.0 devices (kernel 5.10+). - Older kernels (3.4+) are also compatible, but the kernel must be built manually. - Currently, only arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, and x86_64 are supported. - SuSFS in this project only supports backport to kernel 4.3+. - The Tracepoint Syscall Redirect hook is only supported with GKI2 (5.10+) kernels.

Hook Modes

- Tracepoint Syscall Redirect hook: The default hook mode, from upstream, but it only supports GKI2 kernels with arm64-v8a or x86_64 ABI. - Manual Hook: The most compatible hook. Supports Linux kernel 3.4 to 6.18. - SuSFS Inline Hook: A hook from SuSFS, similar to Manual Hook, but provided by the SuSFS project, not this project.

License

- The files in the "kernel" directory are under the GPL-2.0-only license. - The image files featuring anime character stickers are copyrighted and subject to the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license, with additional authorization required from the copyright holders for artistic use. - Except for the files or directories mentioned above, all other parts are under the GPL-3.0 or later license.
