Freedom is an Android proxy and VPN client designed for users who want detailed control over connections, subscriptions, routing and DNS settings. It combines several operating modes with local configuration management and connection recovery tools.

The home screen provides useful connection information, including:

🔄 Automatic Recovery

Freedom includes recovery behavior for mobile network changes and temporary interruptions, helping reduce the need to reconnect manually.

Additional convenience features include startup automation, Quick Settings tiles and home-screen widgets.

🔒 Local Configuration

Freedom focuses on local connection management rather than requiring a separate hosted account. Its diagnostic logs may contain sensitive information, such as server addresses, so review and redact logs before sharing them.

Freedom is an Android application built with Kotlin. Check the current release notes for supported device architectures; published release packages may target arm64-v8a specifically.

Freedom is a client application, not a VPN subscription provider. You must supply compatible proxy nodes or server configurations. Connection quality depends on the selected server, routing rules, device permissions and network conditions.
