About this app

StrykerOSS bundles a curated set of network, wireless and web security tools into a single rooted-Android application, exposing them through a unified, modern UI. It runs a Debian trixie (arm64) chroot under /data/local/stryker/release so heavyweight tools (Nmap, Metasploit, Nuclei, Hydra, SearchSploit, etc.) execute natively on the device — the same rootfs the rootless QEMU VM boots when root is unavailable. A built-in terminal (drawer → Terminal, or the Stryker Terminal launcher icon) drops straight into that chroot — no external shell app required.

What's new

v6.5.1Oct 23, 2026
  • Crashes
  • The terminal no longer crashes on launch. (#122, #126, #130) Saved networks opens again on devices where it crashed every time. Saved passwords are kept. Handshake capture
  • When airodump-ng reports a handshake, Stryker now checks the file first. If the handshake isn't there, it keeps listening instead of ending the attack. The capture is stopped cleanly, so the handshake actually reaches the file. Stopping a mass handshake capture no longer loses the last captured frames. "Handshake captured" is shown only when the file confirms it.
  • Cracking
  • A running crack stays visible after you leave the screen. You can stop it there or from the notification. Cancel now actually stops aircrack-ng. Wordlists with spaces or quotes in the path open correctly. A failed run shows the real reason, such as a wordlist that won't open or a capture with no handshake, instead of "Password not found". Captures with several networks no longer hang. Deleting the last handshake no longer breaks the list. (#159)
  • Wi-Fi
  • Monitor mode can be turned off again. RTL8187 adapters get more time to appear and are no longer reported as "driver missing". (#125) Pixie Dust says where the WPS exchange stopped instead of listing missing values. (#128) Network scanner
  • The root LAN scan lists every host nmap finds, including hosts behind a router or VPN. If the MAC is unknown, that field is left blank. (#127) On large networks, the first hosts are no longer dropped. Hosts with similar addresses, like .1 and .10, are no longer treated as the same host.
  • Rootless (VM)
  • On slow devices, the VM keeps booting as long as the guest is making progress, instead of being stopped at 150 s. (#135) If port 2222 is taken, a free port is picked, and QEMU left over from a previous run is stopped first. VNC and other port forwards survive SSH reconnects. The guest core is no longer redeployed and restarted in a loop. (#120) UML: clearer error when there is no tmpfs for its memory. (#123) Clearer error when Android's sandbox (seccomp) blocks passt. Updated UML kernel, now more devices are supported and experimental fix for tp-link 722n v2/v3 is implemented Saved networks
  • Import skips broken rows instead of stopping at the first one. Export via root keeps passwords with apostrophes intact.
