QRX is a fast, modern QR code scanner and generator built for current Android phones. Open the app, point the camera, and the result appears instantly as a clean card with the right action ready to tap. Everything runs on your device: no account, no ads, no tracking.

SCAN IN A TAP - Camera opens right away with a clear viewfinder and a smooth scan animation - Reads QR codes and common barcodes - Flashlight, front/back camera switch and 1x-3x zoom (where your camera supports it) - Import a photo from your gallery to scan a saved code - Optional vibration, scan sound and auto-open for links

SMART RESULTS QRX recognises what a code contains and offers the right action: - Links: open in your browser, with a warning for shortened or non-secure (http) links - Wi-Fi: save the network through Android's own "Add network" sheet, with the password shown and copyable - Contacts: view the details and save a contact file (.vcf) - Events: save a calendar file (.ics) - Email, phone, SMS and map locations: open in the matching app - Plain text: copy, share or search the web Every result can be copied, shared, starred, deleted or turned into a new QR code.

CREATE QR CODES FOR ANYTHING Choose from nine types: Text, Link, Wi-Fi, Contact, Email, Phone, SMS, Location and Event. The preview updates as you type. - Customise code colours with a built-in picker, plus background colours (including transparent) - Choose square, rounded or dot shapes - Set the error-correction level (Low to Max) - A warning appears if your colours may be hard to scan - Export as PNG (512, 1024 or 2048 px) or SVG, share the image directly, or copy the content

HISTORY THAT STAYS ORGANISED - Every scan and creation is saved with date and time, grouped by Today, Yesterday and earlier - Search your codes and filter by All, Scanned, Created or Starred - Star favourites, delete single items, clear everything or export your history as CSV - You can turn history off completely in Settings

DESIGNED FOR MODERN ANDROID - Dark-first design with a polished Day theme, plus an Auto mode that follows your system - Choose an accent colour, or use Material You colours from your wallpaper (Android 12 and newer) - Edge-to-edge display, smooth transitions and system haptics - A short animated launch screen and an optimised startup that stays smooth - Requires Android 11 or newer
